Month 1 — Foundations & Camera Control
W1: Camera anatomy, lenses, exposure triangle (ISO/SS/Aperture); shoot in Manual.
W2: Focus modes, metering, white balance; basic troubleshooting.
W3: Composition (rule of thirds, leading lines, framing, perspective).
W4: Natural light basics; golden hour walk; critique session.
Mini project: 10-photo story using only natural light.
Month 2 — Lighting & Portraits
W5: Light properties (quality, direction, color); reflectors & diffusers.
W6: Studio 1-light portraits; modifiers (softbox/umbrella).
W7: Studio 2–3 light setups; high/low key; gels.
W8: On-location portrait with mixed light; posing & direction.
Mini project: 6-image portrait series (studio + outdoor).
Month 3 — Product, Food & Commercial
W9: Tabletop basics; background, styling, grip.
W10: Reflective/transparent products; highlights control, polarizers.
W11: Food photography; composition, steam/sauce tricks.
W12: eCommerce workflow; batching, color consistency, exports.
Mini project: Client-style product brief (8 images + spec sheet).
Month 4 — Events & Wedding Essentials
W13: Pre-production: shot lists, timelines, gear planning.
W14: Low-light & flash (on/off-camera), TTL vs manual.
W15: Candid storytelling, ceremony etiquette, audio basics.
W16: Data backup, culling speed, delivery packages.
Mini project: Cover a mock event; deliver 25 edited images.
Month 5 — Post-Production Mastery
W17: Lightroom workflow: import → cull → global edits → presets.
W18: Color theory & grading; B/W conversions; profiles.
W19: Photoshop: retouching (skin, dodge & burn, frequency sep).
W20: Advanced: compositing, sky replacement, AI tools, output for print/web.
Mini project: Retouch 5 portraits + 5 products to pro standard.
Month 6 — Business, Brand & Portfolio (Capstone)
W21: Pricing, packages, contracts, licensing & copyrights.
W22: Brand identity; website/Instagram, SEO basics, reels strategy.
W23: Client comms, proposals, pitching, negotiation, invoicing, GST.
W24: Portfolio curation, sequencing, mock interviews; final review.
Capstone: 20–30 image portfolio (two niches) + brand kit (logo, bio, rate card).
Deliverables & Assessments
Monthly mini-projects (reviewed with rubric).
Capstone portfolio + oral defense.
Certificate: Master Photographer Program (with grade/track).
